    Road to Recovery -volunteer drivers give rides to and from treatment appointments

    Reach to Recovery - one to one support visits for women with breast cancer made by
    carefully selected and trained breast cancer survivors

    Look Good...Feel Better - complimentary make up kit and workshop conducted by a
    licensed cosmetologist to help women deal with appearance-related side effects of
    treatment.

    I Can Cope - on-line patient/family education series that focuses on living with cancer
    Support Group information for patients and caregivers.

    Information is available about specific types of cancer, treatment options, managing side effects of treatment, statistics and rehabilitation. Information is also available on prevention, early detection, community resources and alternative medicine.

    Best Chance Network - provides free breast & cervical screenings for women who do not have health insurance (or have insurance that only pays for hospital care) and who meet certain age and income guidelines.

    Health Insurance Assistance Program - for patients with no insurance, may be losing insurance, is under- insured, has claim problems, or unable to meet deductible or co-pay.

    Psychosocial Support - depression, anxiety, difficulty in coping with illness, lack of family or social support, feeling of being overwhelmed, facing end of life issues, pain control, communication with medical team and other major stressors.

    Sexuality - information and guidance for the sexual side effects of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

    Employment Discrimination - a patient advocate can help navigate through the laws prohibiting employment discrimination.

    Cancer Resource Database - referrals to other organizations and resources within the community.

    Clinical Trials Matching Service - Free access to the most comprehensive cancer clinical trial matching service available anywhere. Specially trained oncology nurses facilitate the compiling of a list of clinical studies for which patients are eligible and send them descriptions to review with their physicians.

    Hope Lodge - A free home away from home available in many communities with major medical centers.

    Dietitian on Call - personalized, over-the-phone, nutrition counseling for cancer patients to help cope with side effects like nausea, weight loss or gain, loss of appetite, and/or eating difficulties. A registered dietitian provides help with individual problems.

    Transportation Solutions - Road to Recovery (volunteer drivers) and other resources in the community.

    Financial Assistance for anti-nausea and pain control medications.

    Oncology Social Worker provides psychosocial assessment, brief counseling, problem-oriented interventions, service and resource coordination, skill building and advocacy for patients and caregivers.

    “TLC” Catalog - offers reasonably priced hats, scarves, turbans, wigs, hairpieces, sleepwear, mastectomy swimsuits, bras, breast forms, etc.
